We accept all major International credit cards through Stripe.

We also accept all debit cards (eg. Dankort) with Visa or MasterCard logos. We don’t charge any fees for payments. All prices are stated in Danish kroner (DKK) and includes Danish VAT when shopping within EU.
All communication between our payment system and the cardholder is made through an encrypted SSL-line (Secure Socket Layer). In other words only Stripe have access to your data. It is not possible neither for us nor any other unauthorised entity to see or read data, which is exchanged in connection with the purchase.
All of our orders are processed through Stripe, a 100% secure online payment system. Stripe encrypts your payment information using the SSL protocol with an encryption key length of 128 bits – the highest level of security for e-commerce. The payment is processed at time of purchase.
In order to purchase a relief at atelierplateau.com you must fill in your personal information and payment information. Once your order has been placed you will receive an auto-generated order confirmation via email. When your purchase has been accepted and we have made your order, you will receive a shipping confirmation with a Track & Trace number.
When confirming your purchase you are entering into a binding agreement for your purchase. If you wish to change or cancel your order you must contact us as soon as possible. If your order has not been shipped, we will cancel it for you. Shipping costs or other fees will not be returned.
Customs Duty and VAT
When shopping from within the EU, all displayed prices include VAT. When shopping from outside the EU, the prices displayed are excluding VAT. All products are sent to you from Copenhagen, Denmark, so if you are shopping from outside the EU, please note that local VAT and custom fees may apply, for which we cannot be held responsible. Prices do not include delivery charges which will be calculated at checkout. Atelier Plateau retains the right to change prices at any time.
We cannot guarantee that colours in the website are fully equivalent to the relief’s actual colours. This depends partly on the colour settings of your computer or other device. Also each relief is unique and variations in the surface structure and edges might occur.
All designs, logos and names are the property of Atelier Plateau and can only be used with permission from Atelier Plateau.
The content on this website is protected by intellectual property rights and belong to Atelier Plateau. Any material on the website, including image pictures, designs and graphics, may not be reproduced, and it may not be used commercially without referring to Atelier Plateau.

At atelierplateau.com we sell wall reliefs — all based on the following principles:
- All reliefs are locally produced in Denmark.
- Our reliefs are in limited editions.
- Each relief is hand-painted with eco friendly paint/plaster.
Our reliefs are very fragile and response to touch, sunlight, humidity and temperature. Over time, the wooden reliefs may bend slightly, and the surfaces may change and react to the surroundings with a change in colour and small crackles in the plaster. Natural variations in organic materials are not considered defects. Atelier Plateau is explicitly excluded from all liability for any damage or loss that such defects or variations may cause, directly or indirectly.
- In general, please avoid touching our reliefs.
- Always carefully use the included gloves when moving or mounting a relief.
- Use only a feather duster to clean our reliefs. Please note that water/fluid will damage our reliefs!
Serious or fatal crushing injuries can occur from wooden wall reliefs falling down. To prevent our reliefs from falling down they must be correctly mounted to a wall.
Mounting instructions are included in English. If you lose your mounting instructions please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we will provide you with a new.
We strongly recommend only professionals to handle and mount our reliefs to the wall. Mounting should be carried out by a qualified person, because wrong mounting may lead to that the relief will fall down and cause injury or damage. Fastening devices (screws and wall plugs) for the wall are not included since different wall materials require different types of fastening devices. Use screws and wall plugs suitable for your wall. Assess the suitability of the wall to ensure that the screws and wall plugs will withstand the forces generated. For advice on suitable fastening devices, contact a professional.
Do not place the reliefs outside, close to fire, close to water or in any humid environment, as the reliefs respond to touch, sunlight, humidity and temperature.
Carefully use the included gloves when moving or mounting a relief to prevent scratches and pay attention to fragile edges.
Transport and Delivery
All reliefs are sent from Denmark and can be shipped within Denmark and selected countries (see list below). Delivery charges will appear from the order confirmation before you pay.

Time of Delivery
The delivery guidelines below are an estimate and we do our very best to achieve these, but times can differ depending on conditions which are out of the control for Atelier Plateau:
Denmark: 3–4 weeks
Rest of the world: 4–5 weeks
All of our shipments can be tracked with our shipping partners.
You will be responsible to cover a second delivery attempt if you forget to pick up your package in time or your package is returned to us because of an incorrect delivery address.
If you refuse to accept the delivery, the package will be returned to us. If you wish a refund, you will still need to notify us. In this case, shipping costs or other fees will not be returned.
Damaged Products or Parcels
We ship all our reliefs in protective packaging to secure they will arrive in perfect condition. However, if you for any reason receive a damaged relief which does not correspond to your original purchase, please contact us at email@example.com as soon as possible or the latest within 2 days from the date of received delivery. Please document all damages, including the outside packaging and include them in the email to us. Without images of both product and packaging, we will not be able to issue a refund or replace your product.
Returns and Exchanges
We accept returns and exchanges within 14 days from the day that you received the relief(s) from us.
If you would like to make a return or an exchange, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org within the stipulated time with your order number and name of the product that you would like to return and we will send you further instructions.
The relief(s) must be returned in original condition and in the original, undamaged packing or similar protective box. No tape is to be attached to the product. We reserve the right to refuse any returns, that do not fulfil these criteria. Please note that you are responsible for the shipping back to us.
Returns and exchanges happen at your own risk and own expense (shipping costs are to be paid by you). If you wish a refund, we will only refund the amount paid to Atelier Plateau. Any local VAT and customs fees is your own responsibility to get refunded.
For you to place an order with atelierplateau.com we need the following information: name, address, phone number and e-mail address.
We record your personal information for the purpose of delivering goods to you when you place an order. Personal information registered with Atelier Plateau are kept for five years, after that the data will be deleted. We save your e-mail address to i.a. send you an order confirmation as well as notice you when your order has been shipped. Your name and address will show on a label of your package with your order. We cooperate with different companies which process and file data. These companies process data solely on our behalf and may not use personal data for their own purposes. We only use your information to deliver your order and to provide the customer service you deserve.
When collecting personal information through our website, we ensure that it always happens when submitting your express consent, so that you are informed of exactly what information is collected and why. Atelier Plateau prioritises data privacy and confidence. At the same time, we want to give you the best possible experience when you visit our website. Therefore, we collect and use information when you shop in our webshop, including expediting your order and registering your preferred functions, etc., as well as sending marketing material and other information on our products and activities if you have given us your explicit consent. Finally, your information can be used to investigating suspicion of fraud.

Who has access to your information?
The Director and the staff of Atelier Plateau have access to the information recorded about you. We do not store customer data encrypted.
We do not transmit encrypted customer information.
Information provided to atelierplateau.com is never disclosed or sold in any way to third parties, and we record any sensitive personal information. As registered with Atelier Plateau you always have the right to object to the registration. You also have the right to inspect the information recorded about you. You have the right to, upon request, be informed which information we have registered of you and take exception to a registration according to the personal data protection act. If the information is wrong, incomplete or irrelevant, you have the right to have the information corrected or deleted.
